What is MPPT?
MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking, a technology used in solar charge controllers to optimize the energy harvested from solar panels. MPPT ensures that the solar panels operate at their maximum efficiency by constantly adjusting the electrical load to match the solar panels’ optimal voltage and current. This results in more efficient energy conversion and storage, particularly useful for RVs and camper vans that rely on solar systems for power.
